How To Create An Awesome Instagram Video About Item Upgrades

Path of Exile Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are a frequent and crucial method to enhance the performance of many items in Path of Exile. They can also provide additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Rare-grade equipment is often superior to upgraded Common or Magic gear due to their high demands.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a form of upgrade that can be applied to armor and weapon items. They improve the stats of whatever item they are connected to. Armor upgrades are found in the game's world and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at any bonfire. They can also be salvaged by using an expert or higher salvage kit to retrieve upgrades from the items.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it is able to take on. Upgrading a piece of armor to its highest upgrade level will increase its damage absorption. But, it's important to be aware that this upgrade will increase its weight, causing it to weigh more than before.

There are a few different kinds of armor upgrades available in the game, and each one has distinct effects. Some upgrades give armor an additional amount of health points while others make it lighter and more powerful. The name of the upgrade will indicate the type of upgrade the item can be given, as illustrated below.

A few of the upgrades are also magical or a combination of technology and magic which is identified by a "Magic" or "Hybrid" entry in the table below. Certain upgrades also require fees for use. They are referred to as "Charges" entries in the table. The charges associated with these upgrades change daily or never expire dependent on the upgrade.

The cheapest way to upgrade armor is to use Iron Ore, which can be obtained by exploring the area and looting minor loot chests. Titanium is more expensive however, it is available at the smelters of Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Some upgrades, like the Reforge or the Hot Potato Books can only be used on armor pieces that are of high-level. These upgrades can give players a significant increases in stats and are well worth the investment.

The player must be aware, however, that upgrading a piece up to the max upgrade level will increase its defense values. However, it can also affect its agility and its speed. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to upgrade most armor pieces above +9, because the increase in defense is usually not worth the additional weight and power costs of the upgrades required.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades let players increase the effectiveness of certain aspects of an weapon. For example an upgrade can enhance the damage caused by a shotgun's shells or the accuracy of the rifle sniper. Certain weapons also come with upgrades that improve their innate characteristics. They include Frictionless Materials (improves stability and reduces the risk of the risk of overheating) and Kinetic Coils (increases the speed of projectiles to cause more damage).

The majority of upgrades to weapons require one of three Power Dices, a different amount of Minerals and Erons, and a whetblade to apply. These can be obtained by completing Side Quests, taking out a certain number of monsters or bosses, or from the Weapon Upgrade NPC in Central Flarine.

To upgrade a weapon, equipment set piece or Whetblade, you must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine, and pay her an upgrade fee of a certain number of Bars. The more bars needed to complete an upgrade the more expensive the upgrade. If you have multiple upgrade materials, the cost of upgrading will be lower.

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the way you upgrade your equipment and weapon sets was a bit different. In the past you could search for an Upgrade Bench and pay a set amount of Bars to upgrade your weapon or equipment to an increased quality. You could do this until your weapon or equipment reached its maximum upgrade level and at that point, the upgrades would be reset.

You can still do this however, the process is high on RNG and low on agency. It is better to purchase gear with low upgrade levels and high base scores and stat distributions. These will have a better chance of bringing you the best tier of benefits and blessings.

official website  of players will prioritize weapon upgrades for the weapons they use most frequently to allow them to progress quicker. Additionally players, they should think about upgrading the weapons that are most popular with their squadmates to make them more powerful as well. For instance, Shepard should consider upgrading the M92F to unlock the Beretta M93R to make it more useful when paired with biotic specialists like Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels are placed in the sockets of armor and weapons, increasing a stat and providing secondary effects. They can be made through the process of jewelry crafting, which is where you combine a gem with several chemicals at a table. The higher the grade of the gem has, the more powerful its secondary effect. These reagents can be obtained around the world through Treasure Goblins, World Bosses and sometimes by salvaging Legendary gear.  More hints  can also purchase them from The Jeweler in exchange for gold and Scattered Prisms.

The Jeweler can enhance the quality of gemstones in stages ranging from Crude up to Royal. Depending on the tier of the gem it will give different stat boost when slotted into gear, weapons and jewelry.

All tiers of jewels are crafted at the Jeweler and Jeweler's Workshop, with the exception of the rare and legendary jewels which require you to be at a sufficient level to qualify for them. Jewels can be replaced with another jewel without destroying the original. However, you can only replace one jewel in an item of equipment once.

The use of more jewels in the movement will make it feel smoother, and is often performed to enhance the aesthetics of the movement. Apart from improving performance, the jewels create an area that is stronger than metal, so repeated friction from pivots doesn't cause damage as easily.

A Glyphmaster can provide glyphs that can enhance the look of your weapons and shields. They offer a small benefit and can be swapped out at any time, but are not guaranteed to drop as loot. Glyphs can be upgraded as jewelry, by visiting the Jeweler for gold, and also a Scattered Crystal.  official website  are also removed, which returns them to the inventory. Other upgrade components like aegis or traits cannot be exchanged and can only be retrieved through an upgrade extractor, or salvaging with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage tool.

Trinkets

Trinkets can give your character various small, but beneficial advantages. They can be acquired starting in the beginning areas as loot, personal story rewards, from vendors, or by performing road interactions. They may also be crafted by jewelers, and found or purchased from the Trading Post.

The first trinket that a player will be able to unlock is the cloak. It provides a tiny but valuable boost in movement speed and the ability to evade. After that, they can purchase amulets, rings and necklaces in the same way to how a player obtains armor and weapons. Every piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade that can be either universal or jewel. Universal upgrades provide smaller bonuses and can be used in any type of equipment however, jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded, and is only compatible with specific types of trinkets.

These trinkets also grant additional bonuses and abilities that are active even when the character is not fighting. This allows a hero to be more efficient when they are not active. It also helps compensate for the lack of a excellent slot in the talent tree or team that are normally filled by the hero's best stats.

A good guideline for trinket upgrades is to prioritize BiS (Best-in-Slot) items that you will not replace soon, followed by any items with desirable stats, but less important than the iLevel of the item to be upgraded. This is especially true if you're looking to upgrade several statistics on an item. It's better to upgrade one important stat instead of two subpar ones.

Jungle players usually upgrade their yellow trinket to a red one prior to the start of the game. Top and mid players, on the other hand, will choose a pink or green ward, based on the game's matchup. These choices will have an impact on the hero's ability to manage the map.

In addition to the items listed above, players can also discover other trinkets in form trophies and rewards throughout the game. These can be earned through completing certain milestones in the story, for instance completing a chapter's main quest or killing a certain boss. You can see them by clicking on the achievement in the reward section of the hero's menu.
